Pengaruh Edfa Sebagai Booster Dan Pre-amplifier Pada Sistem 40g Twdm-pon Berbasis Next Generation Passive Optical Network Stage 2

Abstrak

Abstrak Next Generation Passive Optical Network Stage 2 (NG-PON2) merupakan generasi terbaru dari Passive Optical Network (PON). Bit rate mencapai 10 Gbps untuk upstream dan 40 Gbps untuk downstream. Time Wavelength Division Multiplexing (TWDM) merupakan solusi utama NG-PON2. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi, hasil terbaik pada jarak 20 Km untuk upstream maupun downstream. Pada 64 user downstream hasil terbaik yaitu Q Factor 35,86 dengan power pump 200 mW, pada pump power 500 mW didapatkan received power- 11,16 dBm dan SNR 41,91 dB. Sedangkan pada 128 user hasil terbaik Q Factor 32,30 pump power 250 mW, pada power pump 500 mW didapatkan received power - 14,34 dBm dan SNR 40,27 dB. Gain tertinggi untuk downstream yaitu 18,32 power pump 500 mW disemua jarak dan user. Untuk 64 user upstream hasil terbaik yaitu Q Factor 27,49 dengan power pump 500 mW, received power -10,012 dBm, SNR 30,04 dB, dan Gain tertinggi 51,13. Pada 128 user upstream hasil terbaik yaitu Q Factor 23,59 power pump 500 mW, received power -11,054 dBm, SNR 28,97 dB dengan power pump 150 mW dan jarak 30 Km, dan Gain tertinggi 51,78 power pump 500 mW dan jarak 50 Km. Meanwhile in 128 users the best results Q Factor 32.30 pump power 250 mW, the power pump 500 mW obtained received power - 14.34 dBm and SNR 40.27 dB. Highest gain for downstream is 18.32 power pump 500 mW at all distance and user. For 64 upstream users the best result is Q Factor 27.49 with 500 mW power pump, received power -10.012 dBm, SNR 30.04 dB, and highest gain 51.13. Up to 128 best upstream users are Q Factor 23.59 power pump 500 mW, power recived -11.054 dBm, SNR 28.97 dB with 150 mW power pump and 30 Km distance, and highest gain 51.78 power pump 500 mW and 50 Km.
