Pengaruh Penghargaan Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Dengan Employee Engagement Sebagai Variabel Intervening (studi Kasus Pt. Sanbe Farma Sterile Preparation Plant)

Abstract

Abstrak Peningkatan kinerja dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan penghargaan dan peningkatan employee engagement. Human Capital Supervisor dalam wawancaranya menyebutkan bahwa kinerja karyawan di perusahaan sudah baik, dan sudah memberikan penghargaan sebagai faktor pendorong kinerja, namun karyawan mengeluhkan jumlah gaji dan bonus. Berdasarkan data kehadiran karyawan, terlihat rasa antusiasme yang kurang, menggambarkan masih rendahnya employee engagement perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur persepsi karyawan mengenai seberapa besar manfaat penghargaan finansial dan non-finansial, seberapa tinggi employee engagement, dan seberapa baik kinerja karyawan di PT. Sanbe Farma Sterile Preparation Plant. Selain itu untuk mengetahui apakah penghargaan finansial dan non-finansial berpengaruh terhadap employee engagement secara parsial dan simultan, apakah penghargaan finansial dan non-finansial serta employee engagement berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan secara parsial dan simultan. Penelitian ini menggukan metode kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Incidental Sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 90 responden yang dihitung dengan Rumus Slovin. Data di analisis dengan menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penghargaan finansial dan non-finansial memberikan manfaat yang besar. Perusahaan memiliki employee engagement yang tinggi, dan perusahaan memiliki kinerja karyawan yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, penghargaan finansial dan non-finansial berpengaruh terhadap employee engagement secara parsial dan simultan. Penghargaan finansial dan non-finansial serta employee engagement berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Sanbe Farma Sterile Preparation Plant secara parsial dan simultan. Human Capital Supervisor stated in his interview that the performance of employees in the company was good, and had given awards as a factor driving performance, but employees complained about the amount of salary and bonuses. Based on employee attendance data, there is a lack of enthusiasm, illustrating the low level of employee engagement in the company. This study aims to measure employee perceptions about how much the benefits of financial and nonfinancial rewards, how high employee engagement, and how well the performance of employees at PT. Sanbe Farma Sterile Preparation Plant. In addition to knowing whether financial and non-financial rewards affect employee engagement partially and simultaneously, whether financial and non-financial rewards and employee engagement affect employee performance partially and simultaneously. This research uses quantitative methods. The sampling technique used was Incidental Sampling with a sample of 90 respondents calculated by the Slovin Formula. Data were analyzed using path analysis. The analysis shows that financial and non-financial rewards provide great benefits. The company has a high employee engagement, and the company has good employee performance. Based on the results of the analysis, financial and non-financial rewards partially and simultaneously affect employee engagement. Financial and non-financial awards and employee engagement affect the performance of employees at PT. Sanbe Farma Sterile Preparation Plant partially and simultaneously.
