Analisis Model Bisnis Pada Bisnis Start-up Web Hosting Di Kota Bandung Menggunakan Business Model Canvas (studi Kasus Pada Qwords.com)

Abstract

Abstrak Indonesia perlahan mulai menuju ekosistem digital di Asia Tenggara, dengan pertumbuhan bisnis E-Commerce yang terus meningkat. Tak dapat dipungkiri perkembangan start-up, bisnis web hosting dan domain juga terus ikut mengalami perkembangan. Qwords.com merupakan salah satu start-up yang bergerak dibidang penyedia jasa web hosting dan domain. Data perkembangan Qwords.com pernah mengalami peningkatan jumlah domain saat awal mereka berdiri hingga awal tahun 2017, kemudian mengalami penurunan pada tahun 2018. Berdasarkan potensi tersebut kita bisa menarik kesimpulan bahwa bisnis penyedia jasa web hosting dan domain merupakan usaha yang menjanjikan dan memungkinkan adanya pesaing baru dalam kegiatan bisnis ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemetaan pada model bisnis milik Qwords.com menggunakan Sembilan blok Business Model Canvas yang diharapkan mampu menyelesaikan masalah yang ada dan melakukan analisis SWOT terhadap model bisnisnya untuk melihat strength, weakness, opportunity dan threats yang dimiliki oleh bisnis Qwords.com. Berdasarkan penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa Qwords.com telah memiliki model bisnis yang sesuai standar menurut teori Osterwalder & Pigneur dan perlu diadakan penambahan pada blok customer relationship dengam pemberian diskon kepada pelanggan jika membeli domain dengan jumlah enam atau lebih sekaligus, customer segment dengan penambahan fokus kepada UMKM, channels melakukan penambahan endorsement pada Influencer, revenue stream menambahkan layanan pembelian domain, pelelangan nama domain, dan pendaftaran bisnis, key resources menambahkan kerja sama secara spesifik dengan mitra bisnis dan memberikan pelatihan rutin sesuai keahlian divisi masing-masing pegawai, key partnership perlu ditambahkan adanya kerja sama dengan Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM, Key Activities menambahkan penjagaan standar kualitas produk yang sudah ada, peningkatan kualitas Uptime & Page Load Time pada kecepatan akses milik pelanggan. Kata Kunci : Model Bisnis, Business Model Canvas, Analisis SWOT Abstract Indonesia is slowly begin to get into the digital ecosystem at southeast asia, with with the enhancement growth of E-commerce businness. The development of startups, web hosting service, and domain service are also increased. Qwords.com is one of the startup which runs web hosting and domain service. The data of Qwords.com since the company created until 2017 shows the increased amount of domain order and slowly reduced in 2018. From the data above, we can conclude that the business of web hosting and domain service providers is a promising undertaking and enables a new competitor in this business activity. This research means to explain the bussiness model of Qwords.com based on theory of Bussines Model Canvas which is expected to solve the existing problems and perform SWOT analysis to it's bussiness model to determine the Strength, Weakness, Oppurtunity, and Threats of Qwords.com. Based on this research, Qwords.com is already have a suitable standard bussiness model according to Osterwalder and Pigneur theory and just need to give a discount to the customers who buy more than six domain at the same time, Customer Segment by focusing on UMKM, adding influencer endorsement for Channels sections, adding purchase service domain for Revenue Stream section, conducting auction domain name and organizing business registration. Key Resources, cooperate with other bussiness partners specifically and give training to the employes based on what they are capable of. Key Partnership, need to cooperate with Department of Cooperatives and SmallMedium Enterprises. Key Activities, add the protection to the standard of product quality, the development of Uptime quality & Page load time based on access speed of customers.
