Pengaruh Motivasi Terhadap Kinerja Guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 8 Purwakarta

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seperti apa motivasi pada SMP Negeri 8 Purwakarta dan juga untuk mengetahui tingkat kinerja guru pada SMP Negeri 8 Purwakarta. Serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 47 guru SMP Negeri 8 Purwakarta. Metode sampling yang digunakan yaitu pengambilan sampel secara nonprobabilitas dengan metode total sampling. Digunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier sederhana untuk menginterpretasikan hasil penelitian. Hasil olahan data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat motivasi pada SMP Negeri 8 Purwakarta termasuk kedalam kategori tinggi. Dan tingkat kinerja guru SMP Negeri 8 Purwakarta termasuk ke dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 8 Purwakarta. Kata Kunci: Motivasi, Kinerja Guru Abstract The purpose of this study is to find out what the level of motivation at SMP Negeri 8 Purwakarta and also to determine the level of teacher’s performance at SMP Negeri 8 Purwakarta. And to determine the effect of motivation on teacher’s performance. This study uses a quantitative method with data collection techniques using questionnaires distributed to 47 teachers of SMP Negeri 8 Purwakarta. The sampling method used nonprobability sampling by total sampling method. Descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis are used to interpret the results of the study. The processed data shows that the level of motivation at SMP Negeri 8 Purwakarta is classified into the high category. And the level of teacher’s performance at SMP Negeri Purwakarta belongs to the high category. The results of the regression test indicate that the motivation has a significant positive effect on the teacher’s performance in SMP Negeri 8 Purwakarta. Keywords: Motivation, Teacher’s Performance
