Praktik Kehumasan di Website (Studi Komparatif Newsroom Kehumasan pada Korporasi dan Media Massa Online)

Abstrak

Praktik kehumasan yang salah satunya adalah publikasi press release, dimana dulu Humas perusahaan melakukan
publikasi tersebut melalui perantara reporter dan editor pers yang memungkinkan isi dari press release tersebut bisa
diubah sesuai dengan pandangan editor pers dan yang mengetahui isi dari press release tersebut hanya editor pers saja
serta tidak ada transparani ke publik. Sehingga, peran newsroom pada website resmi perusahaan sangat berperan dalam
penyampaian informasi langsung kepada publik dimana newsroom mampu mengintregasikan segala informasi dalam
satu platform. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi (content analysis), penulis berusaha untuk meneliti
perbandingan pembingkaian berita (framing) pada artikel yang diterbitkan humas pada newsroom perusahaan maupun
media massa online. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah framing yang coba dibagun oleh humas perusahaan adalah tentang
pengalaman digital (digital experience) pengguna, serta produktivita dan pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional. Sedangkan
framing yang diambil oleh media massa online adalah media tersebut lebih menyoroti tokoh publik Indonesia yang
terlibat dalam kegiatan perusahaan.
