History of Journal
Background:
Between 2018 and 2023, the Bandung Creative Movement International Conference on Creative Industries (BCM) continued to be held annually. However, there appears to be a publication gap or “vacuum” when traced from the perspective of the hosting institution’s repository. This is because the proceedings during those years were published by external international publishers rather than being consolidated directly under the BCM’s own Open Journal System (OJS). Each year nevertheless produced an official proceedings volume with a distinct title, published by either Atlantis Press, Routledge (Taylor & Francis Group), or KnE Publishing, which are recognized international academic publishers.
