Analisis Perbandingan Performansi Jaringan Wireless Menggunakan Software Iperf dan Wireshark di PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero)
Abstract
Abstrak — PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia
(Persero) fokus pada solusi performansi jaringan dalam
analisis Quality of Service (QoS). Penelitian ini
membandingkan Iperf dan Wireshark untuk analisis jaringan
dengan parameter throughput, packet loss, delay, dan jitter.
Metodenya adalah analisis statistic selama 7 hari dengan
standar TIPHON. Hasil pengukuran Iperf menunjukkan
throughput 3,841 Mb/s, packet loss 0,286%, delay 1,024 ms,
jitter 0,24 ms dengan indeks <Sangat Baik=. Wireshark
menunjukkan throughput 1,418 Mb/s, packet loss 2,146%, delay
4,095 ms, jitter 4,08 ms dengan indeks <Baik=. Hasil
perbandingan kedua perangkat dengan 10 poin pengukuran
fungsionalitas, Wireshark unggul disbanding Iperf.
Kesimpulannya, keduanya mampu mengukur jaringan sesuai
parameter, tetapi Wireshark lebih unggul. Penelitian ini
memberikan rekomendasi berharga untung pengembangan
jaringan di masa depan.
