Cultural Branding in Healthy Snack Packaging: A Visual Rebranding Project for Syasyiri
Abstrak
This study presents a packaging rebranding project for Syasyiri, a Bandung-based healthy snack micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME). With the tagline “Snacking Without Guilt,” Syasyiri offers low-calorie, homemade snacks for health-conscious consumers. The redesign adopts a cultural branding approach by integrating local visual identity–such as the Mega Mendung batik motif, alongside thoughtful color use, integrated layout, and friendly typography to reflect values of health, fun, and simplicity. The result is a standing pouch with improved visual appeal and functionality. Complementary digital and physical point-of-purchase (PoP) strategies were also developed to enhance brand visibility and market reach.
